Barbara Bouchea Vanden Heuvel

KELLY LAKE - Barbara M. Vanden Reuvel, 68, Kelly Lake, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, Dec. 20, 2000, at Froedten Memorial Lutheran Hospital, Milwaukee, with her family by her side.

The former Barbara Bouchea was born Feb. 10, 1932 in Green Bay to the late Raymond and Theresa (Leurquin) Bouchea. She married Gerald L. Vanden Heuvel on Nov. 26, 1949. Barbara enjoyed crafts, spending time with her children and grandchildren, especially when they would gather at the lake for campfires and fireworks. She particularly enjoyed spending Christmas with all of her family.

Survivors include her husband Gerald, Kelly Lake; children; Lynn (Tom) Rebitiski, Wausau, Mike (Barbie) Vanden Heuvel, Abrams; Steve (Roxy) Vanden Heuvel, Suamico; Pat (Mary) Vanden Heuvel, Green Bay; Cheryl (Mike) Norder, Suamico; sixteen grandchildren: Jill Hoelscher; Heidi and Justin Rebitski; Steve and Jeanelle Vanden Heuvel, Rickey, Becky and Felicia Helsel, Heather, Ashley and Trent Vanden Heuvel, Bryce and Conner Vanden Heuvel, MacKenzie and Taylor Norder; three great grandchildren: Jordan and Savana Hoelscher; Hailie Gooding-Rebitski; one sister, Betty Peters, Suamico; two sisters-in-law, Jane Bouchea, Green Bay; Dorothy Lindell, Bay Settlement.

Barbara was preceded in death by, her parents and one brother, Lee Bouchea, two brother-in-laws, Glen Peters and Robert Lindell.

A memorial service was held at the Pfotenhauer Funeral Home West, on Tuesday, January 2, 2001, with the Rev. William Swichtenberg officiating. A Froedtert Memorial through her gift as an organ donor. Pfotenhauer Funeral Horne West, assisted the family.
