She was born October 21, 1918 in Chicago to Joseph and Anna (Supok) Bukowski. On October 26, 1941, she married Walter Tomalak in Spruce. Following their marriage, the couple lived in the Town of How for many years until Walter's death in 1967. Mrs. Tomalak then moved to Oconto Falls, where she worked at the hospital, city hall and post office as their cleaning person.
Survivors are her three sons and four daughters-in-law, Louis and JoAnn Tomalak, Carolyn Tomalak, all of Waukesha; Daniel and Susan Tomalak, Green Bay; Ervin and Susan Tomalak, Oconto Falls; seven grandchildren; three brothers, Andrew and John Burkowski, Lena; Joe Bukowski, Oconto Falls.
Besides her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by her son, Alvin in 1994; one brother; two sisters; and one grandson, Shannon.
Friends called at Jones Funeral Service in Oconto Falls after 4 p.m. Wednesday until the time of services. A service of remembrance was held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial in the Town of How Cemetery.
