Mrs. Barbara M. Rozich, 94, Oconto resident died Friday morning February 12, 1999 at Riverside Health and Rehabilitation Center, Oconto. The former Barbara Boldin was born May 31, 1904 in Bresnic, Croatia, the daughter of the late Frank and Katherine (Haijson) Boldin. She married Steve Rozich October 31, 1921 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Escanaba, Michigan. The couple lived in Escanaba all of their married life. Steve preceded Barbara in death on January 17, 1968. She moved to Oconto in 1979 to be closer to her family.

Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Ann and Anthony Markon, Green Bay; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Dolly Bolden, Milwaukee and Dorothy and Frank Barrett, San Francisco; seven grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great greatgrandchildren. Beside her parents and husband,

Barbara was preceded in death by a son Steve, a daughter Mary (Andrew) Kliedal and by three brothers and a sister.

Friends and Relatives were received from 12:30 until 1:30 Saturday February 13, 1999 at Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, 121 Chicago Street, Oconto. Service of Christian Burial was Saturday at the Funeral Home. Deacon Walt Kaszynski officiated. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery; Escanaba, Michigan.
