Heart Trouble Fatal to August Zimmerman Sunday

August Zimmerman, seventy-nine years of age, died at the home of his son, William A. Zimmerman, town of Little River, Sunday from heart trouble.

Deceased was born October 31, 1845 in Germany and came to America with his wife and two children in 1876. He settled in Neenah, and twelve years later moved to Oconto, where he has made his home since.

He is survived by three sons, William, August Jr. and Gustav Zimmerman, all of Oconto; and two daughters, Mrs. Jos. Scheffen of Little River, Mr. and Mrs. John Marek of the town of Oconto. He is also survived by thirty-two grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon at two O'clock from the German Lutheran church in this city Rev. Eisenbach officiating. Burial was in the Evergreen cemetery. The pallbearers were six grandsons of the deceased, Harry, Walter, Arthur and Wilbur Zimmerman, Lawrence Scheffen and Clarence Marek.

Those from out of town who attended the funeral were Charles Broeker and Herman Werth of Lena and Mr. and Mrs. James Fye of Oconto Falls.
