Funeral services for August W. Kasten, 77, who died at a Fond du Lac hospital Thursday night, were held Sunday afternoon at the Kuehl funeral home with the Rev. L.F. Thiel officiating. Burial was in the Underhill cemetery.

Survivors are his wife, of Appleton; two sons, Emil, Reedsville, and William, Appleton; and six daughters, Mrs. Albert Krueger, Mrs. Emory Krueger, Mrs. Leslie Feavel, and Mrs. Mandis Bessette, all of Appleton, and Mrs. William Albrecht, Milwaukee, and Ella Kasten, Kenosha.
