Albert William Hansen, 84, 4143 Pensaukee Bay Shore Road, Oconto, died
Monday, February 9, 1999 at Bay Shore Pines, Oconto. Albert was born
December 31, 1914 in Pensaukee to the late Christian and Marie Hansen.
He married Dorothy Swaer on December 31, 1938. She preceded him in death
on October 22, 1996. Albert worked for E. C. Swaer & Son for 32 years,
until he went into business for himself as a carpenter for 31 years.
Albert enjoyed spending his free time hunting and fishing at his cabin,
in Pembine. He also enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Albert went to High School in Escanaba, MI and then attended Perris
State University. Albert was a member of First American Lutheran Church,
Oconto.
Survivors include one daughter Joyce Stoogbauer, Oconto (Pensaukee),
four grandchildren Heidi (Eric) Stich of Green Bay, Sara Hansen of
Crivitz, Nikki Stoegbauer of Green Bay and Erik Hansen of Crivitz; one
daughter-in-law, Linda Hansen of Crivitz, and many nieces and nephews.
Albert was preceded in death by one son, James Hansen, one brother, John
Hansen, one sister Marion Coats, and one son-in-law Patrick Stoegbauer.
Visitation was held at the Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto, Wednesday,
February 10, from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and again on Thursday from 10:00-11:00
a.m. at the First,American Lutheran Church, Oconto. Funeral services
were conducted Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at the church with the Rev.
Richard DeBenedetto officiating. Burial at Brookside Cemetery.
