Funeral services for Albert Wendt, 71, were held Thursday afternoon at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Wendt and at St. Joseph's Lutheran church. Rev. Lorenz Schultheiss officiating. Interment took place in the Morgan cemetery, the casket being borne by Emil Flemke, Gottlieb Martin, Julius Jaeger, Fred Tisch, Henry Patzer and Anton Effenberger.

Mr. Wendt died at a local hospital early Tuesday morning, following a one-year illness with a head and throat infection. He had been a resident of this community for over 30 years, living for the most part on a farm in the town of Morgan. He was born in Germany Sept. 27, 1865.

Survivors are three sons, Paul, with whom he has made his home for the past several years, Robert and William of Waukesha, and on daughter, Mrs. Annie Zrebst of Baker, Montana, Mrs. Zrebst spent some time visiting her father in the summer.
