Arthur THOME, 84, Green Bay, passed away Friday evening, July 30, 1999 at a local nursing home.

Arthur wa born in Pensaukee on November 1, 1914, to Herbert and Lucy (MOCCO) THOME. Arthur married the former Marie COLSON on June 1, 1940 at St. Peter's Church in Oconto. He retired from Pomp's Tire Company in Green Bay. Arthur enjoyed picking blackberies and working on small engines.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 59 years, Marie; two daughters, Donna (Fred) WILLIAMS of Hayward and Jan (Melvin) MORTIER of Oconto; two sons, Donald THOME and Lee (Betty) THOME), all of Green Bay; three grandchildren, Todd (Sarah) THOME, of Manitowoc, Sara and Schelley THOME of Green Bay; one brother, Herbert THOME, Jr. and finace, Joanne, of Green Bay; four sisters, Bernardine BRENNEN of Oconto, Leona MC CARHNEY of Florida, Lorraine VAN WASSENHOVEN of De Pere, Delores (Gerald) VAN CASTER of Green Bay; two sisters-in-law, Margaret THOME of Abrams and Eleanore COSHENET of Sussex; other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by one infant son; one daughter-in-law, Patricia; three brothers, Theodore, Clarence and Bernard THOME; three sisters, Flora WEIGELT, Violet LONGSINE and Viola THOME.

Visitation was held at Malcore Funeral Home, University Avenue at Baird Street, Green Bay, from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Monday. Wake service was held at 7:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Visitation continued Tuesday at Holy Trinity Church, St. Peter's Site (on Highway 41) from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral at 11:00 a.m. at the church with Rev. David Ruby officiating. Procession and burial in Oconto Catholic Cemetery.
