Anne Thompson Fulton KAISER

Anne Thompson Fulton Kaiser, 86, of Oconto, died November 3, 1999 at Bayshore Pines. Anne was born in the Town of Rib Mt., (Wausau) Marathon County, on November 22, 1912 to the late Adolph and Anne (Davis) Thompson. She graduated from Mosinee High School, Town of Rib Mt., Wausau; Wausau Jr. and Sr. High Schools and Marathon County Teachers College, Wausau. Anne married Neil W. Fulton in Wausau on November 21, 1936 and lived in Detroit, MI. The couple moved to Oconto, WI in 1946 and lived at 502 Second St. Anne worked at Fulton Electric Service and later owned the business. After selling Fulton Electric Service she worked at Chartier Insurance for several years. Neil preceded her in death on May 19,1957.

Anne, Paul and Tom lived in Oconto at the family home on Second St. until Paul went to school in Fond du Lac and work in Milwaukee. Tom went into the Coast Guard, and in 1972 Anne sold the home in Oconto and moved to Green Bay, WI and was employed at the Vincent Insurance Agency. She married Charles Kaiser, September 30, 1972; he preceded her in death on November 25, 1980. Anne served on the Oconto School Board for many years. She was active at the Presbyterian Church, Oconto serving as a Sunday School Teacher for many years. She also served the church as an Elder and on the building committee.

Survivors include two sons, Tom (Sharon) Fulton, Oconto; Paul (Marilyn) Fulton, Brown Deer; two stepdaughters, Kay (Richard) Hughes, Greer, SC; Carol (Gary) Butryh, Escanaba, MI; a brother, Marvin Thompson, Waunakee; two sisters-in-law, Lillian Thompson, Madison; Barbara Fulton Bish, Birmingham, AL; a brother-in-law, Dr. Paul McDonald Fulton, Columbus, MS; four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; step-grandchildren; and several cousins.

Anne was preceded in death by four brothers, Edward, Robert, Arthur and Adolph; also two sisters, Mary and Julia.

Friends called at the Presbyterian Church, Oconto from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, November 8, 1999. Memorial service was at 11:00 a.m. Monday at the church with Rev. Donald Clarke officiating. Burial at Evergreen Cemetery. The Gallager Funeral Home assisted the family.
