A. Zimmerman Dies Suddenly at His Home Wednesday
Son of August Sr. and Ernestine Zimmerman

The death of August Zimmerman, 60, which occurred at 12 o'clock Wednesday evening at his home, 612 Third Street, was a shock to his many friends and relatives. He had worked all day Wednesday as edgerman at the Holt Lumber Company Mill, where he had been employed for a number of years. He had never complained of any ailments until last evening when he complained of a slight illness which was not thought serious.

Funeral services will be held a 2 o'clock from the home and at 2:30 from the Emmanuel Evangelical Lutheran church Saturday afternoon with the Rev. H. Eisenbach officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen cemetery.

August Zimmerman was born in Germany Jan. 2, 1873. He has lived in Oconto for 46 years. In Sept. 1892 the Rev. H. Eisenbach united him in marriage to Miss Anna Kittler.

The grieved survivors of the loving husband and father are the wife, seven daughters: Mrs. James (Grace) Fye; Mrs. Fred (Irene) Krause; Mrs. Arthur (Ruby) Schacht; Mrs. Clifford (Eva) Mealy; Mrs. Cordes (Anna) Livermore; and the Misses Marie and Eunice at home; and three sons, Wilbur of Pensaukee, Walter and Alfred at home. Six grandchildren, two brothers, Wm., Little River and Gust, Oconto; and two sisters, Mrs. Joseph Scheffen and Mrs. John Marek, Little River, also survive.
