Ex-Service Man Buried With Military Honors  

Oconto Falls, Wis.- Military honors were accorded Albert Sylvester, 47, who died at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Reinhardt Grunst Monday, following an illness of nine years. The last rites were conducted at St. john's Lutheran church in Morgan by the Rev. Fred Ohlrogee.

Members of the George B. Eick post American Legion who took part were pall bearers Ortie Saunders, Ben Young, Charles Angus, Roy Harteau, Paul Wendt, and Albert Gauthier; color bearers Emil Plain and William Lawler; firing squad Bert Brady, Frank Plain, Gregory Flatley, Eugene Desreamaux, Ernest Magnin, and Charles Raymond. Taps were sounded by Ken Rifenberg.

Sylvester is survived by two sisters, Mrs. August Grunst, and Mrs. William Schlerf of Morgan, and a brother Ernest of Oconto Falls, a half brother Reinhardt Grunst and two half sisters, Ema Grunst and Mrs. Adolph Birr.
