Anton SUTRICK, Sr.

Anton Sutrick Sr., 94, Sampson Road, Abrams, died Sunday evening
September 5, 1999 at a Green Bay Hospital. 
He was born April 28, 1905, in Abrams. On September 5, 1927, he married
Stella Lemnaski in Milwaukee. The couple had farmed in Lena for 14 years
and in Abrams for 50 years. Anton served St. Louis Church in Abrams as a
trustee and an usher for several years. He was a member of the Lena School
Board for many years and had been a supervisor for the town of Abrams. He
enjoyed the outdoors and in his younger years was a avid deer hunter. he
liked to spend time in his garden and doing lawn work. He liked to read
and was a sharp sheepshead player. Anton was a devoted family man and
especially enjoyed visits from his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is survived by six sons and four daughters and their spouses, Dorthy
and Larry Spoolhoff, Holcombe, WI; Daniel and Mable Sutrick, Abrams;
Antone Jr. and Jenny Sutrick, Oconto Falls; Ceil and Don Duchene,
Fairbault, MN; Edwin and Irene Sutrick, Milwaukee; Tom and Margie Sutrick,
Howard; Janice and Wayne Belke, Princton; Barbra Sutrick, Milwaukee; Ray
and Jan Sutrick, Little Suamico; one son-in-law, Earl Hauck Milwaukee; 39
grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Bernice
Tokarczyk, Franklin; three sisters-in-law, Evelyn Sutrick, Julie Sutrick,
and Estelle Bristol. He was preceded in death by his wife, Stella, in
1996; one daughter, Marian Hauck; one grandaughter, Cheryl Baker; one
grand son, Todd Sutrick; four brothers and three brothers-in-law. Friends
called at Marnocha Funeral Home, Pulaski where a wake service was held.
Funeral Mass was conducted Thursday at St. Louis Church, Abrams with
Father Gerald Prusakowski, O.F.M. officiating. Entombment in the Shrine of
Good Shepherd Mausoleum, Green Bay.
