MAN DROPS DEAD THIS MORNING
August Schacht,
A Resident Here For Nearly Thirty Years,
Falls From Wagon Dead Today.

August Schacht was fatally stricken with a heart attack this morning about 9:15 while driving the wagon on the ice on the river near his home, about one mile from the town of Peshtigo, on the Pierce avenue road. He was with other men fishing when the fatality occurred. He had been troubled about his heart for some time, and the physician who treated him predicted a sudden end.

Mr. Schacht had resided in this vicinity for twenty-eight years, having removed from the city to a farm on the outskirts of the city about years ago.

He is survived by his widow and eleven children, two sisters, Mrs. Henry Brown and Mrs. Ira Smith and two brothers, Charles and Ferdinand Schacht.

The funeral will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 from the German Lutheran church, the Rev. Mr. W. H. C. Westphal officiating. Internment will be in Forest Home cemetery.
