Albin “Al” “Hank” S. Baranczyk



Albin “Al” “Hank” S. Baranczyk, 91, of Lena joined his wife Carolyn and sons Albin A. and Matthew A. and his parents in eternal life Friday, January 10, 2014 at Sharpe Care, Oconto Falls. Albin was born to Anton and Helen (Tyczkowski) Baranczyk May 2, 1922 in Hofa Park, WI. He served three years in the U.S. Army Air Corp in St. Joseph, MO. Albin married Carolyn Babiarz October 2, 1943, after a loving 62 years of marriage she preceded him in death on October 13, 2005. He enjoyed hunting, Playing Piano Accordian, Polka Music, and playing cards with family and friends. He was a member of St. Anne Church, Lena. Albin is survived by his children, Jacqueline and James Diermeier, Green Bay; Donald and his friend Ann, Oshkosh; Carol Mathews, Las Vegas; James and Betty, Lena; Wayne and Nancy, Loveland, CO; Cheryl and Carl Rowell, Lena; Deryl and Barb, Neenah; Myron and Carey, Lake In The Hills, IL; Mary and Todd Demmith, Lena; Patrick, Lena; and 24 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 5 step great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Sophie Laskowski and Celia Spakowicz and two brothers, Steve Baranczyk and one infant brother and one great grandson Seth Philhower. Relatives and friends may call at Rhodes Charapata Funeral Home, 438 W. Main St., Lena Tuesday, January 21st from 4 – 8 P.M. with a Wake Service at 7 P.M. Visitation will continue Wednesday, January 22nd at St. Anne Catholic Church, Lena from 10 A.M. until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 A.M. with Father Celestine Byekwaso officiating. Military Rites will be given after Mass at the church by the Lena American Legion. Albin will be placed to rest at St. Margaret Cemetery, Neenah.
