Oconto, Wis.- Alfred Rocque, 59, Oconto resident, died at the Oconto hospital early Wednesday morning as the result of a heart ailment. He had been taken to the hospital during the recent heat wave and remained there until his death.

Mr. Rocque was born in Oconto March 10, 1887 and lived here all his life. For 23 years he was a member of the fire department and was retired on a pension three years ago.

He is survived by three brothers, Napoleon and Josephine, Racine and Alphonse, Milwaukee and by two sisters, Mrs. Orvilla Beering, New York City, and Miss Nomia Rocque, Racine.

The body is at the Gignon Funeral home here. Funeral arrangements will be made later.
