The former Audrey Richter was born on March 10, 1937, daughter of Helen (Caselius) Richter and the late Edward Richter. She married Roy C. Bauman and he preceded her in death on September, 30, 1992. Audrey taught school for 38 years for the Peshtigo Public School District. She was a W.E.A.C. state delegate, was an active member of WELS Synod, active member of The Weidner Center, member of America's Pack, University of Oshkosh Alumna, Charter member of Marinette Theatre on the Bay, was an avid sports person and enjoyed traveling.
Survivors include her mother, Helen Richter, of Peshtigo; two daughters, Mrs. David (Linda) Marvel and grandson Steven Marvel of Bridgeville, DE; Mrs. Keith (Laura) Kerr and grandson Otto Kerr of Sobieski; two brothers, Alan (Diana) Richter of Minneapolis, MN; Don (Mary Lou) Richter of New Berlin, WI. She was preceded in death by her father and husband.
The family received friends on Friday, December 31, 1999, at the Zion Lutheran Church from 9 a.m. until time of services at 10 a.m. Rev. David Zahn officiating. Burial at Riverside Cemetery. Berth & Rosenthal Funeral Home assisted the family. In lieu of flowers and education scholarship fund has been established in her memory.
