Maiden Lady Is Taken By Death 
 

Miss Alsina Raymond, 69, died Saturday, June ? at the Raymond farm in the town of How. She had been confined to bed the past year and a half. Cancer was pronounced the cause of death.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the home with the Rev. Carr of Suring officiating. Burial was in the Pleasant Hill cemetery.

The pallbearers were Fred Gerndt, Wm. Meles, Max Schuettpelz, Marion Burger, Leonard Johnson and James Aldrich.

Mrs. Elmo Belongia, Mrs. Herbert Gipp, Dorothy Gerndt, Velma and Myrtle Tonsey and Evelyn Schuettpelz were in charge of the flowers.

Alsina Raymond was born Dec. 31, 1862 in Batavia Township, Branch County, Mich. She came to the town of How with her parents in 1891 from Minnesota. She was preceded in death by her mother in 1912 and her father 5 years ago.
