Adam Pawlak, 90, Lena, died Friday, Oct. 8, 1999 at Sharpe Care Ltd., Oconto Falls.

Adam was born to the late Stanley and Josephine (Klimczck) Pawlak, Sept. 30, 1909 in Spruce. He married the former Marie Cochenet in 1935 at the former St. Charles Catholic Church, Lena. The couple farmed in the Lena area until retirement. Adam was preceded in death by his wife Marie in April of 1995. He was a member of the Holy Cross Catholic Church, Lena.

Survivors include two sons, Willard and Shirley Pawlak, Germantown, TN; and Dr. Wilfred (Kristi) Pawlak Newfields, NH; four four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, two brothers, Michael (Carol) Pawlak, Spruce; and Edward (Mary) Pawlak; Spruce; four sisters, Frances Lipenski, Oregon, Martha Pawlak, Crivitz; Regina VanNieuwenhoven of Pulaski; and Dolly (Paul) Klimczek, West Allis.

Adam was preceded in death by two brothers Harry and Wenzell, two sisters, Lucille Hoida and Helen Wilinski.

Visitation was held at Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home in Lena, Sunday, Oct. 10, from 4-8 p.m. and Monday 9:00- 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Vigil Service was held Sunday, 7:30 p.m. Funeral mass was at 11:00 a.m. Monday at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Lena with Fr. Frank Schrage officiating. Internment in St. Charles Catholic Cemetery, Lena.
