Mr. Patterson died Friday afternoon at the home of his son Howard here in the city after an illness of about two weeks. He was born in New Brunswick on April 1, 1860 and came to Oconto Falls as a young man. He worked in our northern Wisconsin woods and later operated a farm near the city. He retired in 1917 and moved to the city where he has made his home ever since. Mr. Patterson served as street commissioner at one time.

Survivors are four daughters. Mrs. Lena Hess, Evanston, Ill.; Mrs. Charles E. Jackson, Wichita, Kansas; Mrs. T. J. Laduron of Stratford and Miss Grace Patterson of Chicago, and two sons, Guy and Howard, both of Oconto Falls, Mrs. Patterson died several years ago.

Another pioneer has been called Home, and again we pay tribute to a generation who builded well.
