Mr. Desreumaux had been in poor health for some time but death came quickly after a brief period of illness. He was born in Wausau July 21, 1891, but came here when he was six years old and this had been his home ever since.
He owned and operated a livery service until the advent of the automobile when he opened a service station and garage. He retired in 1949. He was married to the former Martha Waschbisch in 1932 who was a registered nurse. She preceded him in death in 1962.
Survivors are a daughter, Nancy of Oconto Falls, a son, Pfc. James, stationed at Fort Clayton, Panama Canal Zone; three brothers, Ernest Desreumaux of Salem, W__, Ted O'Neill, Suring R.@, and Ralph O'Neill of Oconto Falls and two sisters, Vivian, Mrs. Elmer John, Wauwatosa and Aurelia, Mrs. G. M. Crooks of Green Bay.
Mr. Desreumaux was a faithful member of St. Anthony's church and the Holy Name Society. The Rosary was recited on Sunday evening by the Holy Name members at seven and the Parish at eight.
