She was born February 14, 1901, at Stolp, Germany. Anna married William Schroeder, he preceded her in death November 10, 1972. She was a member of St. John Riverside Lutheran Church, town of Oconto Falls, where she was a member of the Ladies Aid.
Survivors include her son, Walter of Oconto Falls; her brother, Emil Noffke of East Germany; her son-in-law, Bill "Hans" Heinz, town of Oconto Fall; her daughter-in-law, Marilyn Schroeder of Downers Grove, IL; three grandchildren, Bill (Sandy) Schroeder of Lombard, IL, Rich (Julie) Schroeder of Newark, IL, and Karyle Heinz, town of Oconto Falls; four great-grandchildren, Jason, Michael, Bob and Amy Schroeder. Anna was also preceded in death by her son, Elmer; her daughter, Eleanor Heinz; one sister and three brothers.
Visitation was held at St. John Riverside Lutheran Church, town of Oconto Falls, Tuesday, after 9:00 a.m. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 2, 1999, at the church with the Rev. John Laatsch officiating. Interment in the church cemetery. Kuehl Funeral Home, Gillett, assisted Anna's family with arrangements.
