Aggie was born July 14, 1906 at the family home at 433 Congress St., Oconto to the late Peter and Bertha Dux MacCourt. She graduated from Oconto High School in 1924. She married Harry W. Dutch Petersen December 19, 1940; he preceded her in death. Aggie lived her entire life at the family home on Congress St.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church where she served as an Elder, Deacon, and Trustee. She also belonged to the Women's Association at the church. Aggie was a life member of Order of Eastern Star, serving Grand Chapter as an officer.
Survivors include a nephew, David Bernadette Sylvester, Midland, MI; many grandnieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Harry, sister Esther Sylvester and a nephew, William Sylvester.
Friends called on Sunday at the Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto. Order of Eastern Star Service was held Sunday at the funeral home. Funeral service was 11 a.m. Monday at the First Presbyterian Church, Oconto with the Rev. Thomas Beck officiating. Burial will be at the Evergreen Cemetery.
