Rites Thursday for Mrs. Anna Pawlak at Sacred Heart Church at Spurce

Funeral rites will be held for Mrs Anna Pawlak, former resident of the town of Spurce, be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at Spruce Sept 11. The Rev. Joseph Tomczyk will offfcicate at the requiem mass at 10 o'clock in the morning and the burial will take place in the Spruce cemetary.

Mrs Pawlak died at St Francis Hosptial in Milwaukee on the 7th of September at the age of 86. She has been ill for the past several months. She was born in Poland July 25, 1883 but lived in this area over thirty years.

The former Anna Mioduszewski married John Pawlak on July 7 1902, in Marinettte. The couple resided in Marinette and Milwaukee until moving to the town of Spurce in the early 1930's. Her husband passed away Nov 1953 and since then made her home with her children. She was a member of the congregation of Sacred Heart Church the Altar-Rosary Society of the Anthony Church, the Third Order of St Francis and Golden Agers of Oconto Falls.

Survivors are three daughters; Joan, Mrs Leo Gauthier, Oconto Falls; Tottie, Mrs Allen Wusterbarth, Lena; Bernice, Mrs. Cletus Schuessler, Milwaukee; three sons, August of Young Town, Arizona, Edmund, Lena; and John Jr. Milwaukee. She also leaves a brother William Medusky of San Diego, California . Two sisters ; Sister Mary Amancia [Felican Sisters] of Chicago and Mrs. Paul Neess of Eureka Springs, Arkansas. There are 29 grandchildren and 56 great grandchildren to morn her passing. Besides her husband, two daughters and two sons preceded her in death.
