Dies Monday After
Prolonged Illness

Mrs. Alyda Morian 70, widow of the late William A. Morian and well-known resident of Roseburg, died at her home at 233 Ford St., Monday, following a prolonged illness. She was born in O'Conner Falls, Wis., May 24, 1885, and was married in Portland on May 17, 1917 to William Morian, who preceded her in death on April 11, 1953.

Surviving are three daughters: Mrs. L. E. (Mildred) Moore and Mrs. Robert (Lois) Miller, both of Roseberg; and Mrs. Phyllis Rosenblad (she was first married to J. Wright, cw ) Pendleton; one sister, Mrs. Navy Fitzpatrick, Holland Mich., one brother, Robert George, Grand Rapids, Mich; and eight grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Long & Orr Mortuary Wednesday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Henry Fox of the First Bap- tist Church officiating. Concluding services and interment with follow in the Roseburg Mermorial Gardens.

(I found their marriage in Douglas Co., Oregon-not in Portland, Or., and there is no O'Conner Falls in Wis. so it must be Oconto Falls instead. On the marriage copy, it says she was born at Green Bay, Wis.,- The obituary is a bit long so I will just type in the most important. cw)
