Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at St. Johns Lutheran church at Morgan for Mrs. Jacob Marx, 60 years old, who died at her home in the town of Morgan Saturday morning, cancer causing her death. The Rev. Fred Ohlrogge officiated with interment at the Morgan cemetery.

Mrs. Marx was formerly Miss August Manerou and was born at Mechenburg, Germany, August 14, 1872. She was married November 12, 1899 to Jacob Marx who survives her together with 5 children. The children are Arnold of Milwaukee; Randall of Washington; Hancourt, Leslie and Margaret at home. Two brothers, Charles and William Manerou also survive Mrs. Marx. Relatives from Milwaukee and Susses attended the funeral as well as a number from Oconto Falls.
