1936 Oconto Falls-Funeral services for Alvin Metander, 46, who died Wednesday April 1, were held Saturday afternoon from the O'Neill funeral parlors. The Rev. Robert Breightsman conducted the services.

Mr. Metander was born in the town of Oconto Falls in March, 1880, the son of Mr. and Mrs. August Metander. He has lived here the greater part of his life. His survivors are one sister, Mrs. Telander Nelson, Bark River, Mich. And one brother Gustave Metander of this city.
