Archie MacAllister, for more than fifty years a resident of Oconto county, died at the Odd Fellows Home, Green Bay, at three o'clock yesterday afternoon, from the infirmities of old age.
Mr. MacAllister was born in New Mills, N. B., April 21, 1843, and consequently would have reached the age of 80 at his next birthday. About two months ago, he took up residence at the Odd Fellows Home at Green Bay.
He is survived by four children: Mrs. Georgia McGee, of this city; Sam MacAllister,of Couillardville; and Stanley MacAllister, of this city. Mrs. MacAllister preceded her husband in death several years ago.
Definite funeral arrangments have not been made beyond that the body will be brought here for burial tomorrow afternoon.
