Audrey M. Fonder, 74, 1022 McDonald St., Oconto passed away December 25, 2000 at Riverside Health and Rehabilitation surrounded by her family.

Audrey was born January 28, 1926 at Oconto to the late Charles and Letha (Burdick) Longsine. She married Lyle O. Fonder February 16, 1944 at St. Peter Catholic Church. Audrey worked for Kriewalt Glove Co., Great Lake Shoe Co. and Bond Pickle Co. She was a member of Holy Trinity Parish.

Survivors include her husband, of 56 years, Lyle; two sons Michael J. (Robin) Fonder; Marty J. (Lisa) Fonder, both of Oconto; two brothers Gerald (June) Longsine; Vernon (Shelly) Longsine, both Oconto; two sisters Edith Brown, Kenosha; Clarice Brown, Kenosha; two sisters-in-law Angela and Viola Longsine, both of Green Bay; eight grandchildren; great-grandchildren Meghan Young and her soon to arrive brother or sister.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter and son-in-law, Robert and Faye Young; two brothers Charles (Spook) Longsine and Byron (T. John) Longsine; two brothers-in-law Donald and Francis Brown and three nephews.

Friends called on Wednesday at the Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto. Parish wake service was held. Mass of Christian Burial was conducted 10 a.m. Thursday, December 28, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Rev. David C. Ruby officiating. Burial at Oconto Catholic Cemetery.
