Funeral services for Mrs. Alex Brennan, who died at the Oconto Hospital on Wednesday of last week after a two years illness with cancer, were held in Pewaukee last Friday morning. Burial took place in the church cemetery beside the body of an infant son. Mrs. Walter Austin of Green Bay, a close friend accompanied the family to Pewaukee.

Alice Lannon was born in Sussex Wisconsin on Nov. 1, 1868, the only child of Edward and Mary Lannon. She was married to Alex Brennan in Pewaukee after which they moved to Marinette where they resided for six years. The Brennans then lived in Lena three years, and for the past fifteen years have resided in Oconto Falls, where they have made many warm friends. Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Mary of Chicago and Isabel at home.

Mrs. Brennan was a patient sufferer and while she will be greatly missed, no one would call her back to this life of pain and sorrow. Mrs. Brennan was a faithful member of St. Anthony's congregation and of its Christian Mother Society.
