Alfred Kolodziej, 79, Krakow, died Friday, December 22, 2000, at Riverside Health & Rehabilitation Center, Oconto.

The son of Anton and Bertha Kolodziej was born July 1, 1921, in Texas. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II. In 1950 he married the former Lillian Passon. She preceded him in death in 1983. He farmed in the Krakow area for many years. Alfred was an active member of PLAV #178, Krakow and the Zernicke-Wegner American Legion Post #217, Bonduel.

Survivors include two daughters and one son, SanDee Brunette, Oconto Falls; Kerry Kolodziej, Krakow; Debbie Kolodziej Salamonski, Green Bay; three grandchildren, Laura, Shannon, and Alan; one great-grandson, Jordan; one brother, Rudy Kolodziej, Krakow; one nephew, Bryan; one niece, Cindy.

He was preceded in death by his wife; his parents; one brother, Edward.

Friends called at Marnocha Funeral Home, Pulaski, after 10 a.m. Thursday. Funeral followed with Fr. Brendan Wroblewski, O.F.M., officiating. Burial in Assumption B.V.M. Cemetery, Pulaski.
