Oconto Falls - Funeral services for Arno J. (Scoop) Luth, 57, Oconto Falls businessman, were held at the Freimuth Funeral Home at Bonduel Wednesday afternoon. The Rev. Raymond L. Greene of Merrill, close friend of the family, officiated at the rites. Burial took place in Woodlawn Cemetery at Shawano.

Mr. Luth died Monday morning after a week’s illness, a coronary thrombosis being the cause of his death. Mr. Luth, who was a chemist and operated the Falls Chemical Products Co., resided on Shawano Lake, just west of Cecil, since 1954. Before that the family lived here.

He was born May 10, 1902, at Plymouth, where he graduated from high school. He was a graduate of Ripon College. His wife, the former Dorothea Freimuth of Bonduel, preceded him in death by 15 months.

Survivors are one daughter.
