Adele T. Patenaude, 94, Little Suamico, died Thursday, June 7, 2001, at a Green Bay nursing home.

The former Adele Therese Hermans was born April 18, 1907 in Little Suamico, to the late Eugene and Mary (Detiege) Hermans. On Oct. 15, 1928, she married Sam A. Patenaude at St. Pius Catholic Church, Little Suamico. They operated a farm in Little Suamico. Her husband preceded her in death on November 19, 1963. Adele worked at Curt's Y Go By until retirement. She loved to work on her crafts, play cards, and go up north by her granddaughter Nancy's cottage. Adele belonged to the Golden Age Club.

She is survived by two daughters, Dorothy (Richard) Kozloski, Little Suamico; Mary Ann (Dennis) Hernet, Manitowoc; one son-in-law, Daniel Kozloski; four grandchildren, Nancy (Dick) Schaden, Pam (Blair) Beaumier, Terri (Paul) Poradek, Gary Hernet; eight great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; one daughter, Vivian; one son, Tommy; one sister, Norine Patenaude; three brothers, Clarence Detiege, George Hermans and Alfred Hermans.

Friends called at Marnocha Funeral Home, Pulaski. A wake service was held. Funeral services were conducted 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Pius Church, Little Suamico, with Fr. Gary Dantinne officiating. Burial in Riverside Cemetery, Little Suamico.
