Albert HOLMES

Albert C Holmes, 80, Mountain resident, died unexpectedly Friday morning, March 12, 1999, at Community Memorial Hospital, Oconto Falls.
Albert was born August 16, 1918 at Detroit, Minn, the son of the late Elmer and Ferril (Runk) Holmes. He married the former Margaret Henschen June 18, 1939, at Breed. Albert was employed as an equipment operator doing construction work for much of his life. He also worked as a logger. The couple have resided at Mountain for over 50 years. He was a longtime member of the Mountain Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Margaret; two daughters, Elizabeth "Betty" (Marvin) Bailey of Wabeno, and Elaine Frammes, Kalespill, Mont; a sister, Margery M Hanson, Oconto Falls; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; three great great-grandchildren.
Albert was preceded in death by three brothers, Elmer, Henry, and Walter, and by two sisters, Alice Blaser and Agnes "Peggy" Way, as well as tso infant granddaughters and grandsons.
