She was a lifetime resident of Hayes, and helped her parents operate their general store in Hayes for 1908 until her father's death in 1936. She owned and operated the same store from 1935 to the present. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, Suring, and was a member of the Alter Society. She was also an honorary member of the local 4-H club, and the FFA.
Survivors include one brother, John, Hayes, and one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Wagner, Green Bay.

Funeral services will be held Fri., Jan 7 at 11 am at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Suring, with Rev. Adolph Dolezel officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
