MRS. A. BUELOW DIES JUST SHORT OF CENTURY MARK
Mrs. Adolphine Buelow, believed to be Shawano county's oldest resident, died Sunday at her home in the town of Washington following a short illness. She was the mother of Mrs Pauline Schweers, 126 E. Green Bay street. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon, 1:30 from the home to St. John's Evangelical Lutheran church at Cecil at 2:00
Adolphine Holl was born April 13, 1844, in Germany. She came to America at an early age, her family settling near Mayvllle. Later they came to the town of Washington. In 1870 she was married to Carl Buelow and they lived on a farm in the town of Washington. He died in 1912.
Survivors include her children, Louise, Mrs. John Bofield, Cecil Pauline, Mrs William Schweers, Shawano; Frank Buelow on the home farm; Mattie, Mrs. John Fronek, Antigo; Anna, Mrs. H. Martin, Bonduel; and Linda, Mrs. Ben Hoefs, Bonduel. Other survivors include 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Interment will take place in Woodlawn cemetery, Shawano. Pallbearers will be John Fronek, Herman Martin, Ben Hoefs, Marvin Schweers, George Martin and Leo Buelow.
