.Well Known Oconto Fisherman Passes Away After A Brief Illness. .
Oconto Jan. 28-August Topel a resident of Oconto over ten years and well known as a fisherman, past away this morning at 4 o'clock after an Illness of several weeks.
The cause of the death is given as complications of pneumonia. Mr. Topel was born in Germany 1870, coming with his father and mother to Pensaukee in 1880. He resided in that place until 1905 when he moved to this city with his family. He was an active fisherman and well known in this line of business.
He is survived by his wife and five sons, namely George of Fond du Lac and Frank, Earl, Norman and Clyde of this city. Services will be held Monday afternoon from the German Lutheran church. The Rev. H. Eisenbach officiating. Burial arrangements are as of yet not fully complete it will be either at Brookside or here.
The deceased's mother and father of Pensaukee and son George Topel of Fond du Lac have arrived for the funeral.
