Mrs. Agnes C. Reed, 89, lifelong Oconto Resident, died Wednesday afternoon, Feruary 3, 1999 at Riverside Health and Rehabilitation Center, Oconto. The former Agnes Fiefarek was born August 27, 1909 in the Town of Little River to the late Wenzel and Mary (Kirk) Fiefarek. She married George Reed June 7, 1930 and he preceded her in 1967. Agnes worked as a Nursing Assistant during her life.She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Oconto.
Surviving are two sons, Robert (Shirley), Green Bay and Douglas (Bonnie), Oconto; three daughters, Mary Paye and special friend Nick Hugo, Brookside; Sandy Rassmussen, Pensaukee; and Carol (Jerome) Fischer, Alpha, MI; 13 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Agnes was preceded in death by two brothers, Slavey and Charles, by four sisters, Veronica, Florence, Dorothy and Eleanore; by a granddaughter, Dawn; and by two sons-in-law, Allen Rasmussen and Russell Paye.
The family received relatives and friends at Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, 121 Chicago Street, Oconto from 10 until 2 p.m. Saturday February 6, 1999.
