Arthur C. Tetzlaff, 71, of 10730 T & T Lane, Pound died unexpectedly Tuesday, January 25, 2000 at Community Memorial Hospital in Oconto Falls.

He was born May 30, 1928 in Swedetown in Oconto County to Mr. and Mrs. Emil Tetzlaff Art graduated from Suring High School. He was married to the former Gertrude Fischer on August 25, 1956 in Milwaukee. He was a mason for his brother in Milwaukee until 1957 and then moved to Wescott Lake in the town of Bagley where Art and Gertrude owned and operated Wescott Lake Bar. He was also a mason in Green Bay and later was President of T&T Builders until his retirement. He was a member of the VFW of Beaver and the American Legion Post of Coleman.

Surviving are his wife, Gertrude Tetzlaff of Pound; two brothers, Elmer of Shawano and Arlin (Donna) of Mountain; two brothers-in-law, Steve (Ann) Fischer and Charles (Karol) Fischer both of Fort Myers, FL; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Ruth Tachick and five brothers, Benny, Rudy, Gust, Walter and Emil Tetzlaff.

Friends called at Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, Coleman after 3 p.m. Saturday. Funeral services were held Saturday at 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. John Hephner officiating. The VFW and American Legion conducted military rites following the services at the funeral home.
