Alvin C. ROSNER

Alvin C.Rosner, 78, formerly of Coleman and Pound died Monday an
November 29, 1999 at the LandMark in Peshtigo. The son of Henry and
Minnie (Tachick) Rosner was born August 28, 1921 in the Town of Pound.
He was married to the former Lydia Badora on November 27, 1948 at
Section Eight Baptist Church, Town of Pound. Alvin was employed for
Aring Equipment Co. of Green Bay as a mechanic for 24 years and resided
in Howard. Prior to that he worked as a mechanic in Mondike. Alvin and
Lydia moved to Pound following retirement in 1980. He was a member of
the M&M Antique Auto Club. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Surviving are one son, Larry Rosner of Sobieski; one daughter, Audrey
(Mark) Schweikl of Coleman; two grandchildren, Heidi (Ted Getman)
Schweikl of Madison and Carrie (Nathan) Manning of Pound; one
great-granddaughter, Lydia Rose; one brother, Gene (Doreen) Rosner of
Pound.
He was preceded in death by his wife Lydia on May 2, 1992; and
one brother and one sister.
Friends called at Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, Coleman where a prayer
service was held. Funeral services were held 11 a.m. Thursday at the
Section Eight Baptist Church, in the First Baptist Cemetery, Pound.
Military rites were conducted by the American Legion and VFW at
graveside.
