Mrs. Adeline Couillard died at her home in Couillardville last Monday
night. Deceased was born in Newport, Maine, January 6, 1828 and in 1845
married Thomas Couillard. In 1848 they moved to Milwaukee, and in 1850 to
Couillardville where she had since resided.
She was the mother of fourteen children, nine of whom are now living, the
others with the husband having preceded her.
She was buried from the Couillardville Presbyterian church, the Rev.
Boteler officiating at ten o'clock Wednesday morning. A large number of
friends attended to pay thier respects to the departed and join in
extending sympathy to those who remain.
(Some errors in this one. They did not come to Oconto until October
1852. Had a son in Milwaukee in 1852.)
