Mrs. Kenneth (Agnes) Ernsberger, 80, Oconto died peacefully Wednesday evening, December 13, 2000 at home.

The former Agnes Brennan was one of ten children born to Michael and Emma (Wittock) Brennan. Early in her life Agnes worked for Bond Pickle and the Oconto Egg Plant. She was employed by Miles Laboratories of Elkhart, Indiana for 36 years until retirement in 1982. Agnes married Kenneth Ernsberger November 17,1951. The couple retired to Oconto in 1990. Agnes was a member of Holy Trinity Perish, Oconto, and was a former member of St. Ann's Society.

She will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 49 years, Kenneth; three sisters, Cecelia Noack, Gillett; Viola Early, Two Rivers; and Mary Jane Leja, Oconto; numerous nieces and nephews.

Agnes was preceded in death by four brothers Robert, August, Michael, and Joseph and by two sisters, Emma Thome and Margaret Peterson.

The family received relatives and friends at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, St. Joseph Site, Park Avenue at Madison Street, Oconto from 4 until 8 p.m. Friday, December 15, 2000. Parish Vigil Service was 7 p.m. Friday led by Brother Roman Sieger, O.S.B. Liturgy of Christian Burial was at 1 p.m. Saturday, December 16, 2000 at the Church. The Rev. Fr. David C. Ruby officiating. Interment at Oconto Catholic Cemetery.

Arrangements were entrusted to Ackerman Funeral Directors, Oconto. Raymond B. Ackerman, Jr., Funeral Director.
