FORMER LOCAL BOY KILLED IN LOS ANGELES 
 

Austin A. Olson, 22 year old auto mechanic of 10005 Maple Street, was instantly killed Wednesday night at 11:30 when his automobile was struck by a Santa Fe train in Los Angeles at the corner of eighth and Gage street.

According to police reports Olson was dragged for 75 feet following the terrific impact. The Lennox young man was on his way home when the accident occurred.

Austin was the eldest of a family of four children residing at the home of their widowed mother, Mrs. Emma Olson, at the Maple street address. The other three children are Elford, Clifford and Eleanor. The young man's father preceded him in death ten years ago.

The Olsons came to California in 1928 from Oconto Falls, Wis., and have lived in Lennox for the past three years.

Tentative funeral arrangements have been made for Saturday afternoon at the Hardin Funeral home, interment will be held at Inglewood park cemetery. - Los Angeles times.

Editor's Note:--The Olsons lived in this locality up to five years ago. Their many friends here are sincerely sympathizing with them in their loss.
