Arthur A. Goldschmidt, 88, of 528 Harley St., Lena, died Friday, september 10, 1999 at Sharpe Care, Ltd. in Oconto Falls.
The son of the late Frank and Lena (Ahrens) Goldschmidt was born Feb 16, 1911 in the town of Little River. He was married to the former Florence Wieting on June 18, 1932 at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, town of Grover. He operated a dairy farm in the town of Little River and also worked for Thompson's Boat in Peshtigo retiring in 1977. He was a member of St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, town of Grover.
Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Ken and Caarol Goldschmidt, of Leana, one daughter, Carol Wachowski of Two Rivers; nine grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren; five sisters, Minnie Luedtke of Chilton, Della Demuth of Arizona, Lillian Russell of Chicago, IL; Laura (Hilbert) Eisenman of Marinette, and Sadie (edwaaaard) Dedic of Chicago, IL. He was preceded in death by his wife, Florence on Sept 29, 1996; five brothers, William, Charles, Robert, Henry, and Ernest; and two sisters, Emma Zorn and Hulda Seefeldt.
