Oconto Falls—The faculty of the Oconto Falls Public
schools and their wives or husbands entertained at a chicken dinner and
party at the Lilac club on Wednesday evening, the guest of honor being
Supt. And Mrs. Arthur A. Minar, who has now completed his work as city
superintendent and Monday began working for the Coleman School supply Company.
On Friday afternoon, the high school student body assembled and a program
in honor of Mr. Minar was presented by various classes and organizations.
A program of progressive improvement was instituted when Mr. Minar began
his work in Oconto Falls, and there is much to mark his administration
which dates from July 1, 1942 until the present time. The new superintendent,
Mr. E. A. Moede of Sevastopol, began his work here today. The Minar
family will remain in Oconto Falls, where they own their own home.
