Theresa (Tracy) Rentmeester, 90,
formerly of Rt 2, Green
Bay, died Friday morning in a local nursing home.
She was born April 25, 1893 in the town of
Eaton to the late Louis and Gertrude Loy.
She married William D. Rentmeester on November 7, 1917 at
Holy Martyrs
Church. The couple farmed at Rt. 2, Green Bay, all their life.
Her husband
preceeded her in death on October 9, 1970.
She was a
member of Holy Martyrs Church and the Christian
Mothers of the Church.
Survivors
include three daughters, Helen and Harvey DeGrave;
Adeline and Edwin Phillips, all of Rt 2, Green Bay; Arlene and Anton
Skaletski,
Rt. 2, Denmark; two sons, Robert and Marion Rentmeester, Rt. 2 Denmark;
Ervin
and Patricia Rentmeester, Rt. 2, Green Bay.
23 Grandchildren; 25 great‑grandchilren, five sisters;
Mrs. Norbert
(Mary) Rentmeester; Mrs. Andrew (Eva) Anderson, Mrs. Cletus (Florence)
Brunette; Mrs. Russell (Lorrain) Shaha; Mrs. Joe (Gladys) Romauld; two
brothers, John and Walter Loy of Green Bay; two sisters‑in‑law, Mrs.
Mabel Loy
and Mrs. Virginai Counard.
She was
preceeded in death by one great‑grandson, Joseph
Rentmeester, two sisters, Mrs. Henry (Barbara) Lindsley, and Elfie Loy;
and
three brothers, William, Joseph and George Loy.
Friends may
call at Proko‑Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason
St., from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday and prior to the funeral on Monday. Christian Mothers Rosary
at 7 p.m.,
Sunday. Funeral
10:30 a.m. Monday at
Holy Martyrs Church with the Rev. Elroy Reimer officiating. Burial in Holy Martyrs
Cemetery.
