Peter DeGreef Rites Tuesday
Funeral Services for Peter
DeGreef, 86, 726 Phoebe St. will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday at St.
Willebrord's
Church, with the Rev. David Rondou in charge.
Burial will be in Allouez Cemetery. Friends may call at
Schauer and
Schumacher Funeral Home, where the Rosary will be recited at 8 0'clock
tonight. Mr.
DeGreef died Saurday in a local hospital
after a long illness. He
was a life‑long
resident of Green Bay. He
workded as a
carman for teh Chicago and North Western Railway for many years until
his
retirement. Mr.
DeGreef was a member of
the Holy Name Society at St. Willebroards and the Brotherhood of
Railroad
Carmen of America, Local 424. His
wife,
Elizabeth, died in July of 1956.
Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Theodore Beernsten, Green
Bay, five
grandchildren; seven great‑grandchildren; and s sister, Mrs. Frank
Kreischer,
Northville, Mich.
