John Loy, 88, formerly of 1368 Berner
Street, died at the
home of his daughter, Tuesday morning.
The son of the late Louis and Gertrude Loy was born in
Eaton on October
8, 1897.
Mr. Loy maried
the former Ella Vanden Plas October 3, 1939;
she preceded him in death June 8, 1980.
Mr. Loy was
employed by the former Northern Paper Mill until
he retired in 1963. He
was a member of
SS. Peter and Paul Parish.
Survivors are
one daughter, Margaret (Ronald) Tomcheck,
Green Bay; one granddaughter, Lorie (Joseph) Van Donsel, Forsythe, MT;
one
grandson, Bruce (Amy Tomcheck, Green Bay; two great‑grandchildren,
Kevin Van
Donsel and Amber Tomcheck; one brother, Walter (Vi) Loy, Green Bay;
five
sisters, Mary (Norbert) Rentmeester, Eaton; Lorraine (Russell) Shaha,
Eaton;
Eva Anderson, Green Bay; Florence Brunette, Howard; Gladys Romuald,
Eaton; and
a special friend, John Vanden Plas, Green Bay.
Mr. Loy was
preceded in death by three brothers, George,
William, and Joseph; and three sisters, Trace Rentmeester, Barbara
Lindsley,
and Alphie Loy.
Malcore
Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mass of Christian burial at SS. Peter and
Paul. Burial in
Allouez Catholic
Cemetery.
