Notices--John A Sargent
John
A Sargent, 76, Lost Dauphin Road,
DePere, died Thursday at an Appleton
hospital. Mr.
Sargent was born Oct 22,
1901 in Oshkosh
to the late Harvey and Gertrude Sargent.
He was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Electrical Engineering School. He resided in Green Bay
until 1937; then moved to Menominee, Mich,
and
returned to Green
Bay
in 1956. Mr.
Sargent was a self employed
Electrical Engineer. His
first wife,
Ruth Miller, preceded him in death in 1962.
Mr.
Sargent was a member of the Green Bay Elks club, the Wisconsin
Professional
Engineers and a former member and past president of the Rotary Club of
Menominee, Michigan. He was a past president of
the Marinette
Chamber of Commerce and was active in various civic organizations.
Survivors
include his wife, Ruth Rhode Heney, three sons, Robert, Northbrook,
Ill, Dr.
James Sargent, Menasha, John W, Rochester, NY, eight grandchildren,
four
brothers, Harvey, Florida, Clarendon and Lee, both of Green Bay, Earl,
Rockford, Ill, one sister, Mrs. George (Catherine) Gruselle, Green Bay.
His
parents and one sister, Mary Jane Bucy, preceded him in death.

Funeral Home, from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday.
Wake Service at 7 p.m. Sunday.
Funeral 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Church, 1307
Lourdes Ave.
DePere, with the Rev. Blause Peters officiating.
Burial at Allouez Cemetery. A memorial fund has been
established.
