Mrs. Evelyn Gigot, 83, 1820 Ninth St, died unexpectedly Wednesday morning at home.  She was born January 25, 1906, in Green Bay to the late Peter and Appolonia Christman.  She was a lifelong Green Bay resident.  She was very interested in Catholic education and she actively participated in sponsoring vocations to the religious life.  Survivors are two sons and daughters in  law, Gaylord and Joan Gigot; Harris and Barbara Gigot, all of Green Bay; a daughter and son  in law, Judith and Robert Barth, Fort Lauderdale, Fl, 12 Grand children..two great grand children....a sister, Marie Hearden, Green Bay, a special niece, Jeannette Hearden, Green Bay, and many other nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Harris, a daughter, Gwendolyn Joan, three sisters, Rose Christman, Hilda Christman, and Agnes Lockwood, and five brothers, Fred, Peter, Jack, George (Chet) and Norbert Christman. Entombment in the Allouez Chapel Mausoleum.
