Elmer
August Stein, 87,
Green Bay, formerly of Glenmore, died Friday, Feb 23, 1996 at a local
nursing
home. The son of
the late Peter and Mary
(Matzke) Stein was born February 15, 1909, in Glenmore.
He married the former Cecelia Beyer Hazaert
Sept 25, 1935; she preceded him in death March 4, 1982.
Elmer farmed the family farm until his
retirement in 1975. Survivors
include
one son and daughter in law, Leo and Mary Stein, DePere; one daughter,
Joyce,
Beaudry, Crivits, two step children, Melvin and Betty Hazaert, DePere,
seven
grand children, four great grand children, 11 step grand children, two
brothers
and sisters in law, Norbert Stein, Green Bay, Joseph and Ruth Stein,
Little
Suamico, three sisters and one brother in law. Evelyn and Wilfred
Brilliant,
Manitowoc, Josephine Wysocki, Schofield, Bernice DeBroux, Green Bay,
one sister
in law, Helen Stein, Town of Eaton, a special friend, Margaret
Spratlin, Green
Bay, nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Cecelia, one infant
daughter,
Norma Jean, his parents, four brothers and one sister in law, Urban,
Leo,
Melvin, Bernard and Gen Stein, one son in law, William Beaudry, two
brothers in
law, Leonard Wysocki, Arnold DeBroux, and one step grand child. Proko-Wall Funeral Home. St
Mary's Church,
Glenmore. Burial in the church cemetery.
